A specific Black Desert Node War crash has an official fix in the NA/EU update described as applied October 23. The crash occurred when the Node War Result UI appeared after a marine node ended while a guild participating in Blue Battlefield had not met the participation-reward requirements. The official NA/EU update notice tells players to relaunch the client to download the update.
Checked October 23, 2026. We have not reproduced the crash or tested the fix. This guide helps identify the documented case and prepare a useful follow-up if it continues.
1. Check the complete Black Desert Node War crash trigger
The official update notice names a combination of conditions: a marine node ends, the Node War Result UI opens, and the participating Blue Battlefield guild has not satisfied the participation-reward requirements. A crash at login, in an ordinary battle or before that results screen is not automatically the same issue.
Start with what actually happened in your session. Record the region, whether this was a marine node, when the results UI appeared and whether the reward condition matches. If your guild does not know the reward state, mark it unknown. Do not turn an uncertain recollection into a confirmed reproduction.
2. Relaunch the client and let the update finish
Relaunching the game client is the notice’s stated action for downloading the changes. Close the running game normally, reopen your usual NA/EU client route and allow its update to complete before returning. This is a client update check; it does not call for changing your guild, altering reward eligibility or trying to force another crash.
Keep any visible client version or update result with your notes. The narrow notice does not print a build identifier that we can use as a universal version target. If your launcher cannot update, preserve its exact message and seek the appropriate support route rather than assuming a combat setting will solve a download problem.

3. Observe the next normal results screen
When you next participate normally in the relevant content, note whether the results UI opens and whether the game remains responsive. Avoid changing several settings between observations. If your next session has different node or reward conditions, a successful results screen is useful but is not proof that you recreated the original trigger.
You do not need to deliberately miss participation requirements to test this advice. The practical goal is to apply the official update and collect accurate observations during ordinary play. A crash at a different stage needs its own diagnostic evidence.
4. Separate the released fix from other known issues
The NA/EU known-issues page, marked updated October 23 at 11:30 UTC when checked, remains a separate investigation list. It includes launcher, quest, UI and other issues. Being listed there does not mean an issue was fixed by this Node War update.
Read each item against its own platform and trigger before using any proposed workaround. This article is limited to the NA/EU Node War results crash. It does not import a security-module change from another regional notice or recommend disabling protective software. A persistent launcher problem should be handled under its own current official guidance.

5. Report the remaining symptom with precise context
If the same results-screen crash continues, use official Black Desert NA/EU support. Include the region and normal client route, the time and timezone, the visible error, whether the update completed and the node/reward conditions you can actually confirm. Keep private account details and logs within the official support process rather than posting them publicly.
There is a date distinction in the source: its header displays October 22 at 11:00 UTC, while the title and body describe an October 23 applied update. We therefore do not infer an exact rollout hour. For broader coverage, browse our PC gaming section; match another guide to your actual issue before applying changes.
