How we work

Editorial Policy
ZerotoBeast publishes gaming and game-development coverage built around verification, context, and practical value.
Accuracy and sourcing
We verify material claims before publication and prefer primary sources: official publisher and developer announcements, storefront listings, patch notes, regulatory filings, and direct statements. When a primary source is unavailable, we identify and link the reporting we relied on.
Original work
We do not copy articles or disguise summaries as original reporting. Every piece should add useful context: why the story matters, who it affects, what remains uncertain, or whether a deal is genuinely worthwhile.
Clear labels
- News reports verified developments.
- Features and analysis interpret facts and may express a reasoned point of view.
- Reviews require genuine first-hand experience by the named writer.
- Review roundups summarize and attribute other publications’ verdicts; they are not our hands-on reviews.
- Rumors and leaks are prominently labeled, sourced, and never presented as confirmed fact.
- Sponsored or affiliate content is disclosed clearly.
Reviews and conflicts
We disclose review codes, travel support, gifts, sponsorships, affiliate relationships, and other material conflicts. Scores, where used, reflect the writer’s honest assessment. Publishers do not receive approval over editorial conclusions.
Deals coverage
A discount is not automatically a recommendation. Deal coverage considers historical value, edition differences, platform restrictions, expiration dates, and whether the offer is meaningfully useful to players or developers.
AI-assisted production and human review
AI tools may assist with research, drafting, analysis, transcription, image production, formatting, and newsroom workflow. Every AI-assisted piece must remain a complete WordPress draft until an editor reviews its factual claims, sources, labels, framing, image rights, and publication readiness. A human editor remains responsible for approval and publication. We do not use automation to fabricate experience, quotes, sources, release dates, gameplay information, or news.
Corrections
Substantive errors are corrected promptly and transparently. See our Corrections Policy for details.
