Marvel Rivals ACE Achievement: 4 Checks After the Fix

Marvel Rivals ACE achievement not counting after an opponent leaves? The October 22 update to Marvel Rivals addresses one specific version of that problem: a Competitive Team Wipe failing to count toward ACE! achievements when someone on the opposing team had already quit.

The developer’s Version 20261022 patch notes, published October 21, scheduled the update for October 22 at 09:00 UTC without server downtime. The stated fix gives affected players a useful first check, but its conditions matter.

Marvel Rivals ACE achievement not counting: the fixed condition

The note identifies Competitive, a Team Wipe, the ACE! achievement count and an opponent who had already quit. Keep those four details together when comparing your own match with the fix.

If your missing achievement involved a different mode or a different achievement, this entry does not establish the cause. Likewise, an opponent leaving after a different play is not enough on its own to show that the same condition occurred.

Check the update, then the achievement condition

  1. Confirm your game has the October 22 update. Complete any update offered by your platform’s launcher before checking a new result. The patch is identified as Version 20261022 in the official notes.
  2. Open the specific ACE! achievement entry. Record the requirement and the progress currently shown. This gives you a baseline for a later qualifying result.
  3. Compare the match circumstances. Record whether it was Competitive, whether the play was a Team Wipe and whether the opposing player had already left. Use the game’s available match information rather than relying only on the end-screen impression.
  4. Check a new eligible result. Compare the achievement’s displayed progress after a qualifying match on the updated game. Keep the match reference and observed result together if the issue repeats.

These checks help establish whether the remaining symptom matches the developer’s description. They do not guarantee an achievement for a play that does not meet its own requirement.

Will older Marvel Rivals ACE achievement progress be credited?

The patch note does not say whether earlier missing progress is credited retroactively. It also does not provide a manual reclaim step or a timetable for backfilling past results. A fix announcement alone therefore cannot promise that an older counter will change immediately.

Keep the distinction between an older missing award and a new qualifying result after the update. If only the older result remains missing, that is different evidence from the same failure occurring again on the patched version.

Example: if a pre-update match never received credit but a new eligible match advances the counter, record those as two outcomes. The patch note leaves the older match’s treatment unspecified.

A wrong MVP animation is a separate fix

The same update addresses an incorrect MVP animation after a mid-round hero swap followed by the opposing team’s surrender. That is a separate patch entry. An unexpected animation does not by itself establish that ACE! progress failed, so check the achievement entry directly.

If the count still fails under the stated conditions, keep the installed version, mode, match reference, leaver timing and before/after progress in one concise record. Those details describe the remaining fault more clearly than a general report that achievements are broken.
